Frightfully Chic Halloween Tablescape

Happy Sunday! I just finished cleaning the house as I prepare for fall semester to start tomorrow. I cannot believe I am already one year into my Interior Architecture masters program! My way of unwinding before the week starts involves working on the blog :). I am sitting here in my Halloween pajamas while watching the HBO series “Industry.” HIGHLY recommend watching if you haven’t – it reminds me of my Morgan Stanley days hahah.

This year’s Halloween tablescape is by far my favorite one yet! It’s simple and classy with a hint of spooky. And guess what? I even added a pop of color this time *gasps*! Definitely check out my previous Halloween tablescape if you haven’t already. It is one of the most popular posts on my blog.

I am so happy I picked up the skeleton glasses from HomeGoods this year. Check out the Pottery Barn glasses dupe post here. They add the perfect amount of eerie to the table.

For the centerpiece, I decided to put together a black floral arrangement. It turned out to be way better than I expected it to be! I have an entire post about the floral arrangement here! I love how the arrangement adds height to the table.

Anddd what is a tablescape by me without tapered candles? I used the same ones as I did in previous years, BUTTT guess what? I hit the jackpot on amazing tapered candles that are pretty much dripless and affordable. You’ll never guess from where. MICHAELS! So you’re also able to use the 20% off coupon they always offer.

Finding a statement napkin ring is always key when wanting to keep your table minimalist. These gorgeous ones are from CB2. This year they only have them in gold, however, I found a great alternative at Pottery Barn. Everything will be linked at the end of this post.

I love how the red just pops off of the black plates. It’s giving major vampire vibes (and if you know me, you know that I am a huge Twilight and Vampire Diaries fan hahah).

Placing a colored napkin on black plates makes a statement in itself. I prefer red or gray but you could also go with orange or plum.

I would like to point out that I got the placemats from HomeGoods (this year) and the table runner from Target (two years ago). I have found similar pieces that are almost identical and have linked them for you as well :)!

I hope you guys enjoyed and get excited about setting up your tablescape for Halloween this year! Many posts to come within the following weeks so make sure you are subscribed. Until next time!

AHHH! So spooky I almost feel out of my chair! Wearing a costume should be a prerequisite to coming over for dinner! So creative!
