Elegantly Eerie Halloween Dining Table

GUYS! Halloween is only 16 days away (screaming inside). Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday to decorate for by far. My mom used to go all out with the decorations which is prob why I am now obsessed, ha. It’s definitely the candy corn (need to find a vegan one so if you have suggestions, send em my way PLEASE), scary movies, popcorn and cold weather that does it for me. Speaking of, have you guys seen The Haunting on Netflix? It will seriously get you in the Halloween spirit.

Anyways, when it comes to decorating for Halloween – I like to keep it creepy, yet elegant (if that makes sense). So, that means sticking to a ton of silver and black decorations. When creating your tablescape, for Halloween purposes, I would highly suggest sticking to a predominately black palette.

Keep it simple and intimate with a ton of candles and one centerpiece. I found these really nice candlestick holders on Amazon and plan to use them around Christmas time as well!

I found the table runner at Michaels for like $6! But honestly, you can find this runner anywhere. I’ve seen it at Target and HomeGoods.

The wreath with bats flying out is my FAVORITE part! Found the wreath at Crate and Barrel and the bats were from Amazon. I HIGHLY recommend you pick up one of these wreaths for Halloween. You can put it over a fireplace, dining or entryway table, in your bathroom…ANYWHERE!

Throw in some “creepy cloth” (found at Target) if you want to be a tad bit extra. It looks amazing and takes zero effort to put up!

For the centerpiece – I used a plastic cloche. Target had this amazing one for only $10! Which I am so happy I decided to go with (over the one from Crate and Barrel) because I ended up having to use the hot glue gun to secure everything in there! It was a STRUGGLE for the centerpiece to look somewhat decent without glue. SOO if you guys decide to use a cloche, I highly recommend glueing everything to the base. I used a skull, fake moss, mini dead trees, a pumpkin, and fairy lights!

I went with matte black flatware and dinnerware to keep it simple. I ordered these cute Halloween napkin rings from CB2, but sadly, they won’t arrive until November (UGHH). This is the perfect time to pull out your smokey glassware! CB2 has really nice smokey wine, whiskey and champagne glasses that go perfectly with the theme!

You can change up the napkins by using other colors such as a deep red/burgundy, grey, or black!

Did you guys decorate for Halloween this year?! If so, what are some of your favorites?
