Healthy Protein Shake or Milk Shake?

Have you ever had the Peppermint Chocolate Chip milkshake from Chick-Fil-A? If you’re addicted to mint chocolate chip ice-cream like I am, then you HAVE to make this peppermint chip protein shake. 

If you aren’t into peppermint flavored drinks, then maybe you will enjoy the peanut butter chocolate protein shake! My recipe below uses peanut butter protein powder, however, please feel free to substitute this with the real thing. I found that the protein powder delivers a stronger flavor, which is why I use it instead.

You guys, seriously! These are easily the best protein shakes I’ve ever had.  You will not be disappointed AND it takes less than five minutes to put together.

Peppermint Chip Protein Shake

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops of Orgain Vanilla Bean protein powder (My choice)
  • 4-5 drops of Peppermint Extract
  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk (My choice)
  • Hand full of cubed ice
  • 1/2 tbs of cocoa nibs
  • 2 tbs of hemp seeds for creamyness
Directions:
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until milkshake consistency.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Shake

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops of Orgain Creamy Chocolate Fudge protein powder (My choice)
  • 1 TBS of peanut butter protein powder or 2 TBS of peanut butter (My choice)
  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk (My choice)
  • Hand full of cubed ice
  • 1/2 tbs of cocoa nibs
  • 2 tbs of hemp seeds for creamyness
Directions:
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until milkshake consistency.

I made these one day on a whim and now whenever I crave ice-cream, I just drink one of these instead and it definitely satisfies the craving.
