Fall Spiced Apple Mimosa Recipe

Williams Sonoma Spiced Apple Cocktail Mix Review
Fall Breakfast Ideas

Over the years, I have tried to find a cocktail recipe that 1) actually reminds me of fall and 2) I get excited about. I’ve had a few that were pretty decent but just involved way too many ingredients. Fast forward to last week, I ran into Williams Sonoma to pick up some pumpkin butter (if you haven’t tried this yet, it is a must have! It is AMAZING on pumpkin bread). I saw the Spiced Apple Cocktail Mix sitting there and decided to check out the ingredients.

The ingredients are so clean – Filtered water, apple juice concentrate, golden raw demerara sugar, and mulling spices (cinnamon, cloves, allspice, orange peel). This is one of the main reasons why I love WS cocktail mixes; most of them contain ingredients we actually know and have little added sugar + they are always delish.

For 4 oz. of mix, there is only 3 grams of added sugar – the remaining 7 grams come from the natural sugars of the apple juice concentrate, NOT BAD!

You guys, this stuff tastes like the epitome of fall hahah. It 100% tastes better than mixing just apple cider and prosecco. The mulling spices and apples, omg, it adds an extra layer of depth to the flavor. It literally makes me want to sit by a fire while I enjoy this. The best part is you don’t have to steep the spices yourself; it’s already done for you!

One thing to note is that you always want to ensure that your prosecco is COLD. No one likes a warm mimosa hah. It also wouldn’t be a bad idea to throw the cocktail mix in the fridge as well.

My recipe calls for 2 oz. of mix to make one mimosa so you should be able to get 12 mimosas out of one WS bottle. This would be perfect to have at your next brunch or get together where you plan on serving mimosas!

To garnish, you can keep it simple with a sliced apple or you can get fancy and dip the glass in a caramel sauce and rim with cinnamon sugar.

I’ve also seen some restaurants add a thinly sliced apple and sprig of rosemary directly into the cocktail!

I hope you guys enjoy this cocktail as much as we did! This has definitely turned into a fall staple and I hope Williams Sonoma never stops selling it!
