Designing our son Luca’s nursery was one of the most special projects I’ve ever worked on. I knew from the beginning that I didn’t want the space to feel overly babyish or theme-driven. My goal was to create a space that felt calm, grounded, and elevated. A room that feels intentional now, but can easily grow with him over time! I wanted it to feel more like a beautifully designed bedroom than a nursery you’d feel pressure to redo in a few years.

I’ve always loved a good espresso martini, but during the holidays, I wanted to create a version that felt festive. Sabir is super sensitive to caffeine and can never have an espresso martini at night, so I decided to use decaf espresso in this recipe to keep it low-caffeine and sleep-friendly. If caffeine isn’t a concern for you, feel free to swap in a regular espresso shot instead!

It is finally starting to feel like fall! The mornings and evenings here in Virginia have been in the 50’s and I am loving it! Ghost and I take long walks in the morning and we are both fully in our element, lol. He no longer needs a break due to the heat and I get to bring out my fall jacket (obsessed with this one from Amazon).

With the cold weather, comes unwanted symptoms – dry skin, a scratchy throat, congestion, and much more.
